Spin Score Solutions is a Corporation which implements a national player rating system to accurately measure and reflect each player’s skill level in the Philippines.

The purpose of this rating system is to replace vague tournament classifications. It allows organizers to accurately group players based on their points.

All participants in ranking tournaments sanctioned by Spin Score Solutions, Inc. shall be included in the official rating system.

Preliminary rating is given by the Spin Score Solutions committee to players that are new or not yet in the system. As players compete in tournaments, their rating will be adjusted based on their results.

Spin Score Solutions has members who are skilled at determining an athlete’s rating. When an athlete without any record registers in the Spin Score Solutions rating system, the members will assign a preliminary rating based on their judgment.

The preliminary rating will only serve as a guide, since the player does not yet have any record/s in the rating system. However, once the player competes and the results are recorded, he/she will be immediately placed in the appropriate ranking.

  • Each match will affect player rating, players can gain or lose points between 5 to 50 points depending on the outcome of the match and rating difference.
  • Minimum rating difference is 100 points, if this is the case the minimum and maximum points that a player can earn or lose is 5 points.
  • If a higher rated player wins a match, the higher rated player will gain 5 points and lower rated player will only lose 5 points.
  • If a higher rated player loses, the higher rated player will lose more points depending on the rating difference. The lower rated player gains more points up to 50 points maximum.
